In June 2023 Granite Engineered Solutions was created. A small yet innovative local building and surveying company backed with a history of design and engineered surveying experience.

​

Within the first six months, GES has assisted Thetford Community, with project support to develop Thetford Cricket Club with an application ready for Planning for a new pavilion extension. Including upgrading to existing structures and services.  Within this we have further developed drainage plans and engineered solutions, along with a fire management plan ready and fit for fire consultation purposes. 2024 offers us the chance to assist further in the development of the clubs ambitions to fulfil the dream of better facilities for all to enjoy. It remains within RIBA stage 3 but is progressing. Funding remains a key focus point and further community support is required.

GES have created various plans and models for sports pavilions, homeless shelters, studios and home offices.

We aim to develop a production facility to aid this programme.

On behalf of Building Control KDB has regulated works from commencement to completion issue on various domestic and commercial projects.

2024 aims include working to develop a templated kit build extension package for a highly insulated and crafted buildings, which can be adapted to simple installation requirements, whilst meeting 2022 Building Regulations requirements.
